Saturday the 24th of January

This Saturday we plan to film the final scene in the trailer where our two characters face off in the middle of an unknown street. For this shot we will need both our actors (Mitch and Elliot), we will also need a car to act as the undercover police car with a emergency light on the top.

For this shot we plan to have both characters stood at opposite ends of the street and have the focus on the back of Mitch and Elliot stood by the car in the distance with the light spinning on top of the car. This shot will be filmed around sunset so it will be dark.

During this shoot we will also film a few other shots that lead up to this face off. The first will be the "police car"( Unmarked) driving round the corner and into shot. This scene will require a driver to drive the car and the car with the light on top. The car we plan to use is a Lexus is300 but ideally we would want to use a BMW M3 which from my research is a popular for unmarked police cars. However we do not have access to this vehicle so will have to use the Lexus.

Another scene we plan to film is the scene when Elliot gets out of the car to which we would preferably like Elliot to drive the car into shot and then step out of the car. But this could prove tricky as he ill have to stop in the exact position where the camera is looking at the door of the car.


Together these scene should take a few hours as they will take many retakes to get right as using cars in a production takes time as just one slip up and we either don't get the shot needed or there could be an accident. Also as me and Elliot do not have full drivers licences we are not able to be in that car on our own when driving so we must make sure that we film the shots carefully as we must not make the mistake to showing who is driving as to not break continuity.
